Wow. IWC rules. For their SIHH dinner event, they transformed an either convention hall into the deck of a U.S. aircraft carrier, continuing the theme of their pilot’s watch. What a great night.

We’re done with our appointments for the day! Two of us are headed to IWC for a Pilot themed party, the other two are off for an elegant dinner with JLC. Which would you rather see pictures from later? That’s what we thought, stay tuned.

The unique aspect of the Ralph Lauren SIHH shop was that just about all the fixtures from the desks, chairs, portraits, and even champagne glasses were from the Ralph Lauren line of goods. Ralph even sent his 1933 Bugatti Type 59 Grand Prix 1933, which we were not even allowed to take a picture of let alone sit in. Ralph Lauren watches are the newest addition to this dynamic American brand.
Overall a beautiful line-up on the part of Ralph Lauren’s watch time for this year. Mr. Pettit informed us that Ralph himself is intimately involved in the design and approval process for all his watches, by the way the man is 73 years young!

New Pilot Chrono on a bracelet is gorgeous. They’ve really redesigned the bracelet in a fashion that feels elegant, comfortable and substantial. The addition of the fine adjustment on the buckle ensures that you’ll want to wear this every day. Extremely well executed.
We’re getting ONE limited edition Muhammad Ali Big Pilot. It’s super limited, and we’re lucky to know someone that can get us one!
